Come for the health benefits. Come back for the fun!

What are the benefits of regular sauna use?

Humans have boosted physical and mental health with cycles of heat, revitalization, and rest for centuries. Benefits include reduced blood pressure, heart disease, risk of stroke, Alzheimer’s, respiratory disease, arthritis, headache, and flu. Recent studies show that the brain is more focused and efficient post-sauna, enhancing focus and concentration. It’s also flushed with β-endorphins, giving your day a euphoric boost!

For whatever reason your visit, we look forward to welcoming you into the warmth at KOS!

What is KOS?

“Kos” (pronounced “cozy” without the y) in Norwegian means warm and simple pleasures, often shared with others. After living in Oslo for seven years, our Creator Kate got hooked on the floating sauna and knew she must bring it home to the US for others to enjoy.

We are a year-round, community-driven public sauna business offering communal sessions, private rentals, annual memberships, classes and rituals, team-building, and custom events in our 15-person floating sauna and roof terrace on Saratoga Lake, NY.
